One of the most significant innovations in the last 15 years of development has been the merging of public, private and civil society sectors into powerful partnerships for poverty reduction through development. As we frame the post 2015 development agenda, there is much to learn and build on from public-private partnerships (PPPs) working in global health such as the GAVI Alliance and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
